So I was at a party this weekend, and the majority of the time it was taking just taking pictures. What happen to just enjoying your time at the party, drink dance, go wild. Instead, it's everyone let's get together for group pic. snap snap. then everyone goes to each other with a camera and snap snap. then at great america the next day, I overheard so many people, like "ey take my picture, i'ma post it on myspace" i was like wtf? are you guys here to go on the rides, or take pictures. i don't know, sometimes i feel like everytime i go out now, everyone is so concern about taking pictures and trying to look good, because they know it's going to be on fb/myspace. I think it's really annoying hanging with some of my friends who are major fb whores who have 10,000 tagged photos/albums. nowadays, i try to avoid them, and hang with people who doesn't carry a camera around and snapping pictures 24/7.

I think people truly want to capture the moments but the quick thought that comes to mind when a picture opportunity comes up, is the opportunity for a new display picture. I don't really take pictures because I think lugging around my digicam is sometimes a hassle. So I get really thankful when I get home and log on, only to steal pictures from everyone else. But I understand where you're coming from.
