okay so i have dark auburn hair, & i dyed it dark dark brown with permanent dye. my redddish roots are coming in really bad and i was just wondering what i should do. i don't want black hair anymore....
get lighter hilights? what color? i don't want to get cancer from using too many hair dyes. i just wanted some opinions and reassurances. |

Try getting a dye that matches your natural color-- But good luck, it isn't easy. I've been dying my hair for years and wanted to stop and let it grow out because it was really damaged. It took me several tries over a few months before I was able to find a match for mine. Since you have a darker dye on your hair, it's going to be really difficult to get it back to the lighter color AND match it to your natural.
See what your hair dresser thinks. They could probably fix it for you quicker than trying to use the do-it-youself dye at home. ..And hair dye isn't going to give you cancer. I've dyed mine 30+ times and I'm fine. |
