Ugh, my mom and I joke around about me getting a bf later on but I can rarely tell when she's serious. (She jokes about it all the time.) But my dad, on the other hand, never jokes. He automatically takes a disliking to any guy I talk about, boyfriend or not. Eesh, I'm surprised he still lets me go to public school.
 I'm about to go into 8th grade (only a year till high school, aaah!) and I don't wanna be the freak who has no life what so ever. They always have a reason I can't hang out with my girl friends, they won't let me hang out with guys. Period. And when I wanna take a bike ride/walk they're all 'who are you gonna meet?' God. It's annoying as hell. Do/did your parents act like this? |

In high school, both my parents were very accepting. I guess it's because of the fact that I was a boy and they felt like they could loosen up a bit on their restrictions. I remember the only thing they were afraid of was getting a girl pregnant. Other than that, I was free to do what I wanted. And now, they still remain the same, actually.
