"Not with this plugin. Pretty much anyone can hijack your username and password and take over your blog…not if you’re using this wp plugin.

it's the right section, since using wordpress would be a webmaster's doing. but it does feel strangely like an advertisement.
wordpress has a ton of security features that make it so you DON'T need an extra plugin (meaning not "pretty much anyone can hijack" anything). only seriously hijackers would bother trying to hack into someone's wordpress account, and even then it takes some work. as long as you have the most recent version of wordpress with all the security features enabled, you should be fine. a good article about wordpress security: http://www.noupe.com/how-tos/wordpress-sec...-and-hacks.html and tell me, dravid, why would anyone feel safe giving their phone number to a program build by a web developer who doesn't have a privacy policy on his web site? that kinda feels like the opposite of security to me. |
