when he gets back from out of town next week, I want to kiss my guy friend.
we've been hanging out and flirting for over a month but everytime we've gotten close to kissing, we both get too shy to actually go in for it.

what should I do?
I think I'm determined enough to actually make the first move, but when and how?
typically the guy does it, so I don't know. when we're playing xbox or watching tv, that isn't very romantic. and I feel a little too bold to be the one to lean over in the car when he drops me off at home, especially cause he drives a manual and the stick shift is in between us.

help? and is it a turn-off if I make the first move?

If you never do it, you'll never know what could have been. If he shows signs of wanting to kiss you as well, then you shouldn't have an issue with awkwardness.
As for the kiss in the manual car, that definately won't get in the way haha, just lean over :) or! make him walk you to the door if its dark, say you heard something about a creep walking the neighborhoods at night, hahaha. and plant one on him! front doorstep kiss, so romanticcc ha.
