I'm a newbie at Paint Shop Pro 9 image editing, and just tried to make an image of a guitar emerging from the water. But I don't think it looks realistic. So I would like some advice on how to make it look like a real picture, and also, how to make it look like the guitar is emerging, and not going down. I thought maybe adding some drops of water, which I don't know how to create...
Click to see image I'll appreciate any helpful advice you can give me. |

Thanks for all your comments! Very kind.
I tried to work a little more on the image. I created a brush as I couldn't find any that suited my "water drops" need. I observed some pictures, and after seeing this: http://www.sxc.hu/pic/m/f/fi/fishmonk/1008...r_o_p_s_a_3.jpg I decided to make a brush full of dots of different sizes. I painted some drops of water with it and then I applied the "tiles" texture effect (it was an accident but it actually turned out to look good!). I also covered with a dark color some of the lights that seemed to come from the front (since the sun here seems to be at the back of the guitar). But I actually couldn't manage to add any splash effect. I couldn't find any picture that would fit my image, but since the guitar is emerging from the sea (and not "submerging"), I thought maybe the splash wouldn't be necessary. This is the modified image: Click for image Any advise on how to improve it? Thanks!! |
