when he gets back from out of town next week, I want to kiss my guy friend.
we've been hanging out and flirting for over a month but everytime we've gotten close to kissing, we both get too shy to actually go in for it.

what should I do?
I think I'm determined enough to actually make the first move, but when and how?
typically the guy does it, so I don't know. when we're playing xbox or watching tv, that isn't very romantic. and I feel a little too bold to be the one to lean over in the car when he drops me off at home, especially cause he drives a manual and the stick shift is in between us.

help? and is it a turn-off if I make the first move?

I'd say go for it! The worst that could happen is he could turn you down, but if he is a good friend to you he wouldn't do it in a mean way, you know what I mean?
I'd say wrestle around with him, see how he reacts to physical flirting before I jumped in whole hog.
If you guys have chemistry there will be a good moment to do it, I guess. Unless you never just sit and talk.
