I mean shit, we could get by with 1 person here, Cristy. In terms of visible work and activity, she does more than anyone else and probably more than the entire staff combined (not including her, that wouldn't make sense). So let's see, the CC is in super dire need of mods huh. The VIP lounge is getting pretty crowded... Maybe having one other person to move things and close threads, Betty seems to do a good job of hindering my fun.

Whoa whoa, this topic is not about Sean or signatures, it's about having mods that don't need to be mods, and instead can be OM's who help the community by NOT moving shit to the VIP Lounge and promoting conversation and discussion in a non-gay manner.

I honestly don't care if there are a set amount of mods as long as they all show up and do what I feel their jobs should be. The reason we have so many staff members is so that one person DOESN'T have to take the entire weight of the community upon him/herself - I don't expect every single staff member to be here every single day patrolling the forums and getting things done. Even if one or two people does do a considerable amount of the work, we still have other staff members who show up and do their fair share. So for those people taking on so much extra, thanks - but you don't have to, so don't complain about it (I'm totally not saying you do, just saying). |
