apparently, my dad's been a complete loser and snooping around my website. we have the same internet provider (since i'm at home) so i don't think blocking his IP would be ideal at the moment... is there a way to block specific computers from visiting your site?

oh, this is fun :]
it is a matter of being able to get onto his computer. go to start > run and type in C:\WINDOWS\system32\drivers\etc\hosts. open that with notepad. on the last line, type in "127.0.0.1 yoursite.com" make sure you use both the www & without it. it'll look something like this: 127.0.0.1 localhost 127.0.0.1 www.exklamity.net 127.0.0.1 exklamity.net |
