I've never gotten attention from guys, but for the past few weeks, guys have been flirting with me.

I think a lot of girls go through this. Of course, there are always the girls who get attention starting in elementary school. In my case, I was REALLY shy and really awkward all the way up until about 8th grade. Being raised in a church didn't exactly help matters, either. At some point I stopped dressing like a boy all the time and actually started fixing my hair, and I guess maybe that's when I stopped being the awkward girl that nobody wanted to talk to. It was possibly a combination of a physical transformation as well as me coming out of my shell a little bit.
