Ugh, my mom and I joke around about me getting a bf later on but I can rarely tell when she's serious. (She jokes about it all the time.) But my dad, on the other hand, never jokes. He automatically takes a disliking to any guy I talk about, boyfriend or not. Eesh, I'm surprised he still lets me go to public school.
 I'm about to go into 8th grade (only a year till high school, aaah!) and I don't wanna be the freak who has no life what so ever. They always have a reason I can't hang out with my girl friends, they won't let me hang out with guys. Period. And when I wanna take a bike ride/walk they're all 'who are you gonna meet?' God. It's annoying as hell. Do/did your parents act like this? |

ok well 8th grade? you must be 12? 13? right.both my parents would always joke around about me gettng boyfriends. my dad just stayed out of it really when it got serious, he didnt mind but he just didnt like to talk about it, but i dont think it bothered him. my mum was always really supportive... she still is now. but now it's a bit more awkward because she's worried about getting too serious whilst im almost finished high school. so. yeah. (Y) good luck and maybe try have a serious talk with your mum just ask her how she'd really feel if you got a boyfriend :)
