Lil Wayne = Phoney., =\ Options

Its known that lil wayne became the hottest rapper by using other people's lyrics. Yeah he is the hottest rapper alive [[right now]], but he never uses his own lyrics. Most of his lyrics are from a R&B singer from back in the day. and Lil wayne is really ugly, why do girls throw theirselfs at him? because of the fame probably. but yea. i found that out today.

I don't doubt that he has his strengths I just feel, like you but different in that some people are a bit quick to judge that he IS THE BEST. I may have sounded like I hated him right off the bat but I seriously tried giving him a chance;he's just not my guy.

For me Lil Wayne just seems to show how much the average music listener relies on what is spoonfed them on the radio. Did those millions of album buyers rush to purchase his CD's because of his hit songs on the radio or because of his apparent clever rhymes? I don't really know

anyways OJAI I didn't base my opinion of him not being the best rapper only on the songs I hear on the radio; I base my opinion on the fact that I've heard what else he's had to offer, personally didn't enjoy it, and have heard of better. and as far as the mindcontrolled listeners {lol nicely put) that's just how it is nowadays :( IN THE MEANTIME LET KC DEFEND HIS SOULJA BOY

I agree 100%. (Although I like his beats. So maybe not entirely 100%). His lyrics don't cut it for me, either. I think society has succumbed to peer-pressure when it comes to (his) music. We listen to it because it's what's there and "everyone else is listening to it". I think regardless of paying attention to the lyrical content or not, Wayne is still highly listened to because everyone else listens to it. Listeners may or may not take the step back to think "wow, this music sucks" because what's important is feeling included, so to speak. Listeners can answer the question, "HEY HAVE YOU HEARD THAT NEW HIT BY LILWAYNE?!"....blahblahblah.


Plus. He's still ugly. (imo. haha just kidding. that has nothing to do with what i just said. )

ehhhhhh. probably wayne. personally, i like sb for certain things and wayne for others. i mean, they both compare and contrast. it's hard to say. (well for me at least).
