Ugh, my mom and I joke around about me getting a bf later on but I can rarely tell when she's serious. (She jokes about it all the time.) But my dad, on the other hand, never jokes. He automatically takes a disliking to any guy I talk about, boyfriend or not. Eesh, I'm surprised he still lets me go to public school.
 I'm about to go into 8th grade (only a year till high school, aaah!) and I don't wanna be the freak who has no life what so ever. They always have a reason I can't hang out with my girl friends, they won't let me hang out with guys. Period. And when I wanna take a bike ride/walk they're all 'who are you gonna meet?' God. It's annoying as hell. Do/did your parents act like this? |

not really. everyone's parents are different. my parents always trusted me with my choices of friends and going out, ect, but maybe they will change their minds once you get into high school?
