apparently, my dad's been a complete loser and snooping around my website. we have the same internet provider (since i'm at home) so i don't think blocking his IP would be ideal at the moment... is there a way to block specific computers from visiting your site?

I jsut have to ask you for my own curiosity, what's wrong with your site that your Dad can't see it? What don't you want him to see?
