I don't mean to be a jerk by bringing this up, but does anyone else feel like the News forum doesn't really contain news, but rather weird stories I found on the Internet that read like pseudo-news stories?

I'm fine with moving this if mipadi wants it to be moved, but I figure if people care about news content, they'll see this anyway.
Also, I do care about the news, mundane or not. I just discuss recent events with co-workers and people that are closer to my age. I don't mean that with any disrespect, but seeing as I'm in my 30's and obviously one of the older persons here, often the more relevant and important news discussions seem to flow easier with my peers. I would totally love to engage in those types of discussions here. |
