Movies...? Options

Sorry if this seems kinda stupid. But just recently i've started watching a lot of anime movies instead of like anime series. And the few i've seen were really really good, but when it gets to the ending all of them leave me hanging you know? Maybe i'm just not used to movies that don't have like solid endings, ones that leave you with unanswered questions. A lot of them are open for interpretation, that just kinda frustrates me. It seems like the writers do it on purpose or something lol...

Yeah i guess none of this is really relevant, but i was just wondering if anyone has noticed or feels that way about it.

Oh and the movies i watched that were particularly like this were "5 centimeters per second" and "Toki wo Kakeru Shoujo", the first one more so than the second. Any recommendation for movies to check out would be cool too

Edit: and if someone could let me know how to delete the other stupid topic i made since im an idiot that'd be good too lol
