I'm making a layout right now, and I want there to be a drop shadow on both the left and right side of an image I'm making. How the heck do I do this with photoshop? I can't think of anything =\

You want two drop shadows? But...why? I think it would look weird. But I'm trying it out right now.

What exactly do you mean by a drop shadow on the left and the right? I tried it out and it looks really weird, so I don't know if that's what you were asking for. Anyway, what I did was do the drop shadow at 180 degrees, then I copied the image. Flatten the 180 degrees drop shadowed image, then with the copied image, do another drop shadow of 0 degrees. That's the only way I can think of.

On the other hand, you could try doing an "Outer Glow", and setting the Blend Mode to "Multiply" and the colour to black at around 75% opacity. That gives the image an all-round dark shadow.
