okay, well, I'm not really healthy and it sucks. I'm not saying I'm fat because I know I'm not, just I want to live a healthier life style. The thing is, my mom is sort of...fat, so things around the house aren't that healthy and I was never raised to be active.
So, I want to try to get healthier over the summer. Thing is, I don't want to have to run outside in 90-100 degree weather (I live in Texas). So, do you guys know what I can do that will help me lose some weight and get healthier. Something that I could slowly progress into perhaps. I'm concentrating more on my lower body (calfs, abs, thighs) Plus what kind of foods should I eat... without going on a drastic diet that is? Any help from here would be nice. |

Banzai Misinformation to rectify Fun as pie. 1. Sit-ups are complete garbage. 2. Swimming does not make you "toned" (let alone help you get taller). "Tone" is the ionic measure of your muscles' readiness to do anaerobic work. This arises from heavy weightlifting. 3. Fats should not be avoided. Fat is metabolically inert and does not correlate with body fat. 4. Exercising in the morning before breakfast instigates muscle catabolism. |
