So theres a girl I love and adore and all that fun stuff, and she claims to love and adore me.

Today I overhear one of my "friends" talking about her, saying things like "She said that this weekend she was going to 'Prove her love'" and all that non-fun stuff. He had dated her about 8 months ago, and the day I found out, I actually planned on beating the shit out of him.

So what should I do?

maybe he was talking about her proving her love to you?
and did the boy mention your girlfriend's name?

unless you're sure, then i'm sorry because that sucks but you should definately confront her about what you heard, but don't accuse her.

He did say her first and last name, and said that she was going to do to him.

Why not just go to the source and talk to them? Assuming things is never the right thing to do.
