Well, my boyfriend and I decided we wanted to have sex and I've taken all the necessary precautions and whatnot. I've gotten birth control, condoms, but I'm still a little bit nervous! Even though the chances of pregnancy for us using both contraceptions is about .5%; also, we're not worried about STDs because we're both virgins, I'm still just a bit nerve-wracked, even with my boyfriend's support.
Anyone ever felt this way and could help me feel just a little less nervous? |

There's an extremely, extremely small chance you'll get pregnant with the precautions you're taking. Of course, there have been cases where people have gotten pregnant using both the pill and condoms, but those are rare 1/100,000 chances.
I was nervous about getting pregnant the first couple of times too. There's not much I can say besides try not to let it get to you -- just relax and try not to worry too much about getting pregnant. It probably won't happen, to be honest. Good luck. :) |
