Do you ever ask for changes to be made to the dishes on the menu? Like, I'm a vegetarian, so if there is like, a really good pasta dish or something, but it has chicken in it, I'll ask for it without, for example, or occasionally change an accompaniment...
It's such a hypocritical thing of mine, as well, because it used to bug the hell out of me when people did it to me at work, because I'd have to go into the kitchen and tell the chef about it, and then there would be sulking, swearing, etc. if it was a busy night. |

I have so much sympathy for waiters and chefs, etc. ever since I started working in the food service industry. All I do is host at a dinner theater, and people always ask me for coffee when all I have is iced tea and water in my pitchers. IT'S SO DANG STRESSFUL.
So back on topic, I usually don't have to ask for anything changed. I'm really not picky at all. |
