lol, tom is the model and although the original poster might be violating some terms its not like myspace checks EVERY profile, but just to stay on top of things you shouldnt hide the ad :]

here's a couple things i noticed.
1. if you have an unpopular profile and hide anything you're not supposed to, you'll probably be safe.
2. likewise, if you have a private profile and allow access only to people you know, you'll be safe.
3. the removing of "block user" and the body links & copyright getting you deleted is ambiguous. i had a long, drawn out back-and-forth email with "customer service." basically, they told me, according to myspace's TOS, if any of the links are removed, you're in violation.

i emailed them 8 times- they simply sent me answers telling me i can use their "NEW PROFILE EDITOR, WOW" to customize my profile or that i need to read the terms of service, or that the rumors about myspace charging for services and shutting down are false, or that i should send them a picture of me with my friend id to them to prove it's me...they have a robot working for customer service?

in any rate, i did get a semi-answer out of them:
QUOTE(Myspace)
Hello,

Please review the Terms of Service of Myspace link located on the Myspace homepage. If a user is in violation of TOS, they may be subject to deletion. No links or advertisements may be covered or altered.

Thank you,
MySpace.com

basically, it means if you cover any of the links prewritten by myspace, they'll delete you for it. apparently, it means if you cover the top advert, the navigation links, the view pics / videos links, the contact links, the zodiac link, the blog links, the view friends / comments links, and the bottom links, you're violating the TOS, even though the TOS say nothing about covering links, only about covering the advertisement.
