Seriously? Options

Thanks for the input guysss, but i have another question...Do you think i should talk to him about it? cause he actually did say he wanted to talk to me in person. Or do you think i should just leave it?

But leaving it always leaves things undone, and i hate that :/

So, here it goes. Sorry for it being so long

Boy casually asks me to prom, i accept. We don't talk for awhile, until the three days before prom, to get things organized.
Prom comes around, he picks me up, we go in the limo and here it starts.
He randomly puts his hand on my knee, like you would do with your boy/girlfriend. Every single picture we took, cute or humorous, he would ALWAYS have his hand around my waist/shoulders.
When it came time to slow dance? Our song was "dont wanna miss a thing" by aerosmith, a part came up where it said "i wanna hold you close" and HE pulls me in closer.
As the night progresses, he starts showing more affection, through dancing, holding my hand, whatever.
End of the night comes, in the limo...HE held my hand 3 times on his own free will.
HE walks me to my door, like a gentleman, we hug, and i kiss him, cause i felt a mutual connection, no? Well, he did kiss me back. and then we hugged again.

Two days later?

I ask him about after prom.
He tells me, "i just kissed you cause i think you're hot, and i dont like you like that"
He kept apologizing cause he realized i was hurt by this, obviously.
He also said he kissed me back cause he didnt wanna ruin my night...

but who leads someone on THAT much? My gosh...If he didn't do any of those things, i would have never kissed him! and i told him that! and he said, he just got caught up in the moment and didnt know what to do?

Does this make any sense whatsoever?

ah yes! well, when he was shutting me down, he mentioned that he couldnt see himself having a GOOD conversation with me, which is total bull cause ive tried many times, hes just not responsive. so when we talked, i basically talked the whole time to get my words out there, and he just nodded and said yeah, i know, yeah.

Well, he was really closed up and stuff, kinda shy seeming ya know? he said something about how he wished he did like me cause it'd be a good thing for him, but he just doesnt.
I shouldve questioned that, poop.

Uhhh, then i asked him why he held my hand in the limo and why he kissed me back and whatnot, and he said that he just got caught up and wasnt thinking about anything but a good time. He said sorry, and he said he understands if i was mad at him, i just told him im not the type of person to hold a grudge against someone, and he said oh well i guess thats a good thing for me. I even told him i HATE awkward situations such as avoidance in the hallways, and he understood that, so now he notices me in the halls and says hi ha...


Oh! and he said something about how he didnt want a relationship to come between him and his frieds, hahaha...and before he said this i told him that im not trying to get him to like me or anything but its just the fact that he doesnt even know me, and he just judged me based on what he knows, which isnt much. After he said that friends bit, i told him he cant base his life upon someone elses cause thats just stupid and things never work out that way.

Now i dont know WHY, but i keep thinking about him and i DONT want to :[ It actually annoys the hell out of me, which is sad cause im annoying myself now :[
