how can i remove the space where my blog, contact box, header etc. should be? Options

I want to hide just about everything-- but the codes I've used seem to just make it invisible, it's still there.
But when I go to a friends page, they don't have it?

That's what it looks like. I realize the white spot at the top may not be THAT much, but I want my profile to be as small as possible. This is what it looks like highlighted:



I think the codes I'm using only shrink the text and such, they don't actually get rid of everything. :/
