Okay, so I was watching TV and this commericial for some medicine came on. It went on with the usually corny dialogue along with what the medicine does and what the side affects are. The lady was going on saying them outloud as they were strolling by in small text below the screen. It went a little something like this: "May cause drowiness, nausea, headache, sleepiness and even death." DEATH? Why would I even take a medicine to help me get better if I might end up dying anyway.

If there isn't a likely risk of severe bodily harm, then your medicine is for pansies.
My friend Conner was taking this bottle of medicine for his upset stomach. It had a picture of a teddy bear with a thermometer in its mouth on the label. Gross. So, when he was sleeping, I switched it with this other bottle that had a badass picture of a skull and crossbones on it (he's a metal head, so I figured he'd appreciate that). I haven't heard a peep out of him since. |
