Do you ever ask for changes to be made to the dishes on the menu? Like, I'm a vegetarian, so if there is like, a really good pasta dish or something, but it has chicken in it, I'll ask for it without, for example, or occasionally change an accompaniment...
It's such a hypocritical thing of mine, as well, because it used to bug the hell out of me when people did it to me at work, because I'd have to go into the kitchen and tell the chef about it, and then there would be sulking, swearing, etc. if it was a busy night. |

I'm not a picky eater, and I also appreciate an original dish in its entirety, even if I don't particularly like one of the ingredients. I'll try it at the very least. If I really don't like it, I'll order something else entirely. |
