I seriously got fucking warned for quoting pictures of Culver's?
http://www.createblog.com/forums/index.php...p;#entry2932094 On top of that, it was 4 days ago. Obviously it wasn't hurting that much. Wtf? Eat my shit, Ruth. |

Cristy, thanks for the rules thing. but you've yet to answer my question of why it's such a big deal that you have to take the img code out when quoting. i'm just curious that's all. and did this whole img quoting thing just apply when spencer got warned or has it always been the rule?
EDIT; Never mind, i understand. alright so it is a forum wide thing now. that's nice to know, after making an example out of someone. |

There was a lot of discussion about that a while back. It's just more convenient when loading pages, and it saves space. If everyone quoted an image that they wanted to talk about, there would be a lot more scrolling to do, which would be annoying. Also, it's silly to quote an image that's directly or a few posts above yours when you could just say, "[Username], [comment here]" or quote their text but not the image. It's been the rule for a long time. Dee, Rebecca said that here: QUOTE The only thing I can think of right now is informing people that it's a rule the first time they violate a newer guideline (and point out the guideline). Then after that, issue a warning.
