so...
in one episode of tyra, she said that we should sleep in ours bras to prevent our boobs from sagging. but... i was talking with my friend about this & she told me that her mom said not to sleep in your bra because when you sleep you should be comfortable meaning you should wear clothes that are not tight on you. she also told me that sleeping in your bra causes cancer.  so what's the dilio?  right now i'm not sleeping in a bra because of what my friend said. & my aunt has breast cacner so i'm scared...

it is IMPOSSIBLE to get cancer from sleeping in a bra. there is no way for an item of clothing to cause you to make cancerous cells or to form a tumor. it just doesn't work that way. but it's possible if you sleep in underwire that cuts into your breasts for long periods of time [like every night for years] it can cause a mass. it's not cancer, just fat. but most people wouldn't do that due to the discomfort.
i sleep in a bra. i feel more uncomfortable not wearing a bra than sleeping in one. but that's just me. |
