Willie Jacobson has been missing since roughly 3 AM on Sunday morning, April 27th. He was last seen heading from Grandview Pl. to Ithaca College Campus via the foot trail connecting Grandview Pl. and Hudson Ct. Campus Safety has been alerted, as has Ithaca Police, and they are currently investigating the situation as a missing person's case.
Ugh, I can't believe this is happening. I don't know him personally but it is tearing me up, I have been close to tears today. I am pretty good friends with some of his friends and they are so worried about him. His mother also came up today from St. Paul. The police finally started searching for him today (they refused to do anything yesterday), both with dogs and helicopters but haven't had any luck. There are tons of gorges and woods for him to get lost in, and it is so scary that they haven't even found any signs of him yet. My heart is going out to his family and I sincerely hope this kid is okay. It's just so sad, this kid is only 19 and 2 weeks away from completing his freshmen year in college  . I just hope we didn't start searching too late.
