It's Earth Week. Are you taking measures to be greener?
I'm a HUGE meat eater and I'm not going to change that any time soon (aka at all). However, i would love to change everything else that I can. I took my ecological footprint quiz. I scored a 22. T.T So not the greenest person in the world. You can take yours here: http://www.conservation.org/act/live_green...ofootprint.aspx What do you do to be greener on a day-to-day basis? -I recycle -I use a Brita filter and a reusable Nalgene bottle type thing (so i don't really buy bottled water) That's about it. |

Yeah, 2008 seems to be the big year for going green. This should have happened a long while back. (Pst, this topic is really similar to this Earth Week one.)
Anyway, yeah. I always unplug my cell phone charger and hairdryer when I'm not using them. You'd be surprised at how much power can be wasted even when you're not charging your phone, PC, etc. I always unplug my brother's laptop charger since he always leaves it connected to the socket. ![]() |
