So, who's watching it?
I know I am. I'll be watching it this saturday or sunday. Jet Li is in it (My favorite asian fighting dude, lol) Jackie Chan (He is too, and funny) I'm always interesting in fighting movies. Especially the Asian Fighting ones, because it's crazy how they do it. o.O Pretty damn athletic. Trailer: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=e66Og0lOCcE |

I saw the movie yesterday. It was really good and interesting. Jackie Chan and Jet Li fighting scene was great. I was pretty much impressed and how they are both still athletic when they are like 50+ years old. Hah. I liked the movie.
There are some funny parts in this movie, it made the whole audience laugh, literally. There is this one part in the desert between Jackie Chan and Jet Li, the whole audience was like laughing like crazy for 2 whole minutes or more. LOl. I thought it was hilarious. While I watching this movie, I did not expect that the plot was like "The Journey to the West" (For those who are Asians, you probably know it). THE MONKEY KING! I was like oh crap because of the The Monkey King. When I was little, my favorite Asian episode show/movie was "The Journey to the West" and the Monkey King kicked ass. He's a good fighter and he is quite funny. For those of you who don't know "The Journey to the West", I suggest to wiki it? My friend didn't get some parts of the movie while I did and he didn't know the main plot of "The Journey to the West". |

My friend didn't get some parts of the movie while I did and he didn't know the main plot of "The Journey to the West". THAT DESERT SCENE WAS LOL. And the Journey to the West story didn't really come into play except the fact that the monkey king was in it, and they told a little about it. The main story in this movie was how the golden stick got returned to the monkey king. The series I saw of JttW was a lot different. AND I kept laughing at the most innappropriate times because I couldn't stand how Jet Li was acting all weird. I always think hes the cool badass that is silent. But in this movie, its just.. outrageous sometimes.. omg. "NO YOU FOOL!" This movie.. was a flop for me, the cornyness and bad acting was just bleh. The kungfu was really cool for jackie and jet but not so much everyone else. Ugh i wish those two would have picked a better movie to star in together. f**king america. Oh yeah, though sparrow was pretty cute, she was kind of annoying. Especially at the end when she stopped the "epic fight" |
