Have you ever gone out of your way to get back at someone for something petty, and then have it all blow up in your face, only to end up more annoyed/upset then you were before?
Sometimes, getting back at people canbe incredibly amusing, especially if you know how to get to them really well, but a lot of the time, it ends up being a little boring, or having unforseen consequences. |

![]() I've tried to do the vengeance thing, sometimes it works so well you're sitting there stroking an imaginary white cat and planning further humiliations...other times you end up doing it to yourself and feeling like a bit of a doorknob. Generally, it's not worth it unless you're getting even for something really significant. Like someone eating the last cookie from the cookie jar. This thread reminds me of Sweeney Todd. ![]() |
