So, I bought these hair-cutting scissors and am planning to cut/trim my bangs tonight. I have longish side-swept bangs; they're growing out and I want them back. I've never cut my own hair before, so ... any tips or techniques I should be aware of before I completely f**k up my hair?

i cut my bangs all the time.
cut them dry. make sure you don't move your head while you're doing it. and try twisting your hair and cutting it that way. that's what works best for cutting sideswept bangs. it keeps them from being too even. cut them a little longer than you want them at first and then trim them little by little until they're right. happy snipping! =] |
