Ive submitted quite a few graphics to createblog, and almost every one of them (one was accepted) was rejected for being "bad quality" or "too blurry".
I dont understand this because it looks perfectly fine in the program I use (Adobe Photoshop CS3 Extended), as well as on my computer, on the file hosting site, wherever I post it AND on createblog (before it was rejected.)

It makes no sense for it to look fine for me but blurry for everyone else.
so what could possibly be the problem?
Thanks in advance. =]

here are a few examples of graphics that were rejected:

Well the second one is horrible pinch.gif No offense! Just the orignal image that you used is extremely pixely and low quality. You should use high quality images. Also the first one is really blurry, around the edges around the pictures and stuff is really blurry. I would suggest not putting any effects on the images at least don't blur them. Also the background image you used in the first on is very low quality as well.

The last one isn't as bad as the other two I must say. It is blurry in the background, but I could see why someone would do that, because of focusing and such. The text is something that bothers me on it though, I think you should choose a different font and don't outline fonts.

i couldn't have said it better.
the first picture: it's just weird. the background looks pretty fake.
the second picture: the image looks bad & the focus doesn't help it.
the third one: it actually doesn't look that bad. it looks like a painting to me.

i also agree with the fonts; i don't really like the fonts you chose except for the marilyn monroe one. in the last graphic, i would have chosen a different font color.

there are sooo many things you can do with these pictures. be more creative. looks through the accepted graphics to get ideas or through the tutorials here.

i'm sorry if i sound harsh but i'm just being honest so you can progress from your mistakes & become a better graphic designer. _smile.gif

EDIT/
also, save your pictures as a PNG & not a JPEG; it retains the quality of the picture.
