In the bay area of California, a mini earthquake strike but it felt strong. (A couple months ago) Somewhere around a 3.7-4.1 I believe? I forgot.
According to the article, it says there is a chance that it might hit 6.7 magnitude sometime the next 30 years. That's pretty damn scary. Especially the fact that it had killed people in the past. QUOTE The 1994 Northridge earthquake under Los Angeles' San Fernando Valley was magnitude 6.7. It killed 72 people, injured more than 9,000 and caused $25 billion in damage in the metropolitan area. right, so, we all heard about the earthquakes friday, correct?
well i was watching the news, and i only caught a bit of it, but they were talking about increased activity here means increased activity in the california area. they said, and i quote, "the california area will begin to see activity shortly after the new madrid activity". kinda dumb, IMO. |
