Well, I think you probably still love him. But even so, I think it's really best if you finally end it this time, and try your hardest not to get back together no matter how hard it is.
I mean if this has been going on for a while now, the on and off thing, it won't be healthy in the long run imo. There's obviously alot of problems in the relationship (which seem to never got resolved for so long now) and it won't do any of you guys any good getting back together again. However, I do think if this might be the last time you think, then I think the two of you may need one final talk to agree that this is finally over. If not, then you are just leaving the possibility of a reunion if nothing is said. You guys have to set the matter straight. You don't have to do it soon, but just in the near future say 1-2 weeks. |

I agree totally, I think you should discuss with him that this will be a clean breakup instead of thinking if he's just waiting for you to come crawling back.
