According to her, Gangster rap doesn't exist and is an invention by the government to get blacks to kill each other.

We ask what other gangsta rappers she liked. And that’s when Keys drives a steamroller through the wall.

“‘Gangsta rap’ was a ploy to convince black people to kill each other,” she says, putting down the sandwich. “‘Gangsta rap’ didn’t exist.”

let's not condemn alicia for having a different opinion...besides it wouldn't be the first time the government set out to destroy african americans
