When you become a parent, and you have a child around the age of 10-14 years old, would you let them go on the internet? I mean I know I did, when I was 13, but I never go around acting like a complete idiot, and I was way more smarter than say 14 year olds nowadays online. That douche (and you guys know who i'm talking about) makes me question why parents allow their idiotic

My mom let me start going on the Internet when I was about 13, but my time was limited to 30 minutes to an hour.
I would let my kids go online, but I would make sure they understood that if any, like, personal information was given away, they'd regret it. Ahaha. Also, I'd block sites like MySpace/Facebook until I felt they were old enough. Honestly, though, I hope that if I ever have kids, I would raise them well enough that they would have common sense about what was safe or not. |
