How long does it take yall to adapt to a new location? How long does it take you to REALLY know your place? You can say it could be a lifetime for you to really truly understand the aspect of where you live. But just in general terms, it usually takes me about 2 years to actually get the feel of a new city. I been living in Davis for nearly two years now, and I can say I am starting to get use to the place, but there's still some little aspects that I'm still unfamiliar with.

^ Lol. Of course I know you live in SD all your life. And of course because of that, I would expect you to know all of that and know your city pretty darn well. But I was saying, that did you knew all that (what you listed above) just after one month? Or did it took you a couple years to know all that. Because one month is darn short. But if it did truly took you one month, then you are a fast adapter, and I actually admire that and envy you.
