How long does it take yall to adapt to a new location? How long does it take you to REALLY know your place? You can say it could be a lifetime for you to really truly understand the aspect of where you live. But just in general terms, it usually takes me about 2 years to actually get the feel of a new city. I been living in Davis for nearly two years now, and I can say I am starting to get use to the place, but there's still some little aspects that I'm still unfamiliar with.

Yea pretty much. Did you not notice that I said I lived in San Diego ALL MY LIFE? Of course I'd know when things are, but I'm not saying i know everything. I know just enough of what actually concerns me. BTW I meant that about where i moved, since I've ONLY MOVED AROUND SAN DIEGO. WTF do you want me to say? Oh yea I lived at my sister's house for like 2 months over the summer, but you know what? Yea it took me a month to adapt to the way people live over there (since she lives in the desert, which is like the boonies), figure out where things are, figure out what people actually CONSIDER as recreational, and what other crap they celebrate. Also, there's a dominant race where she lives, and it's definitely not Asian, but I guess I learned more about their culture when I was over there? shrug.gif Let me know if this is still unclear.

And about the culture of my city? Okay, seriously, what do you mean by that? Are you telling me that I don't go around San Diego enough to know about it? Yea I still consider La Jolla San Diego, but I admit I haven't really adapted to it, since I only go there for college, so I stick around on campus, then get on the freeway and get my fat ass out of there.

Anyways, yea I know what kind of people hang around at many places, what kind of people live there, etc. And I know about certain annual festivities held (usually ones held at schools and shit) each year. Yes I understand my "social environment" if that's what you mean. Oh and yes we have a gay community too. Does that give me bonus points, Tung? I know where it is! *raises hand* lmao
