How long does it take yall to adapt to a new location? How long does it take you to REALLY know your place? You can say it could be a lifetime for you to really truly understand the aspect of where you live. But just in general terms, it usually takes me about 2 years to actually get the feel of a new city. I been living in Davis for nearly two years now, and I can say I am starting to get use to the place, but there's still some little aspects that I'm still unfamiliar with.

Depends how frequent of a driver I am... All I need to know are all the streets around my area as well as the plazas. Normally takes about a good month or two.

Well duh. I'm not really talking about like where the the places are at and where what is at. I mean that's pretty easy. Usually that would take me couple weeks. But I'm talking about like the culture of the city, or the people and the environment as a whole. I'm trying to apply cultural anthropology here, but I can't explain it very well.
