I'm doing a skydive next weekend! I'm really up for it; it's something I've wanted to do for a loooooong time, and it's a charity thing as well, so you know, karma!
Has anyone ever done one, and was it as amazing as it looks? Also, in a broader question, what kind of stuff have you all done to raise money for charity? |

Hot diggity, that's something I've always planned on doing once I'm able to grow a pair sufficiently large enough.
What's a skydive like, Tamacracker? I've always wondered if your stomach gets left behind like on a rollarcoaster or if you adjust to the feeling. |

Well one thing's for sure, wear goggles if you plan to clearly see the beautiful curvature of the earth and the terrain below. On top of that, your stomach gets a lil tight because of the immense pressure, specially when the pressure starts to change mid-way down. The only thing that could hurt or feels a tad uncomfortable is when you pull the shute and your body jerks really hard, but it's nearly instant. Other than that... just enjoy the whole scenery, take big breaths and enjoy the clean ass oxygen before you reach the ground :D |
