just wondering.. for prom.. the guy gets the girl a corsage.. is the girl suppose to get the guy a flower.. or does the get get both the corsage (for date) and the flower (for himself)..?
i thought the guy was suppose to get both.. so the flowers can match and stuff.. but recently.. some people told me otherwise... just wondering what the traditional way is... thanks |

The guy gives you the corsage and you give him the bouteniere. I don't know how to spell it correctly but that's how it's done in California

I don't know how to spell it correctly but that's how it's done in California this is how people usually do it when they put it on before prom, but what about before? Do you go with your date to buy the corsage and boutonniere? If that happens would u give your date one after the purchase so she could hold it and put the boutonniere on you during prom day? Wouldn't the flowers turn bad after a while if you buy them a couple of weeks before prom day? When do you usually buy them? Are they usually heavy for the girl because i heard it was. |
