i was just wondering; i don't know how it came to mind.
but to those who have a religion, why do you follow/believe in it? i want to see what young people have to say about this.

Apparently Taoism is classified as a religion, but it's more of a philosophy in my opinion.
Either way, I try to follow the basic principles of Taoism because they often make me happy and keep me from going all manic depressive. Life is fresh and interesting and the littlest things amaze me. It's really as simple as that. It's not a crutch, rather it's a lens through which I can see more clearly and fully appreciate the world, my life and everyone in it. In addition I'm an atheist, which confuses stupid people, because YES, I can be both, Taoism consists of no wacky theological bullshit. Yeeeaaah. Hope 16 counts as young.
