My school has been thinking about having year round school. The vacations and breaks are longer, but there is no summer. You still have the same amount of school days but year round. They want to do this so kids don't "Forget things over the summer" and when one grade is over, it's on to the next a week later.
What do you think? |

Ugh, I had year round school all of my elementary school years. And I always got the same track. The one track that gave you NO VACATION in the summer months. So basically the "summer" everybody looked forward to a child was non-existent for me.
![]() Year round school is just a way to relieve the overflow of overcrowded elementary schools, which is a big problem here down in Anaheim... But basically, if your middle/high school isn't overcrowded, it's a stupid idea that shouldn't be implemented in the schedules because it's stupid and unpopular among the student ranks. |
