I have a friend (Jackie) at school whom I've met at the beginning of the year. She seemed pretty nice and didnt seem too different than any of us. But she recently told me that she has been pregnant 4 times and after she found out, she would call her friends and they would all drink heavily until the baby died. She also said that she would "accidently fall down stairs" as well. My other friend CC has been with her when she's done this, and says its nothing more than a ton of hard liquor, throwing up, and falling a lot.
My question: If you were at such a young age and got pregnant, what would you do? |

Then don't have sex because of the repercussions. That's simple, it's your choice to have sex knowin that the repercussion is having a child whether you like it or not because it's not your choice, it just happens. Unless you're on a mission to have a child, then obviously you're ready and mentally/emotionally prepared for a child... the PROPER way. Ok now I'll shut up for sure and leave the thread in peace. Good night. f**king hypocrite. It's not whether you like it or not, because obviously there's ways to avoid it. Of course we have no choice as to whether or not we get pregnant, but we know there's the risk. That's the whole gamble of having sex. There's always a chance. Is it fair that men can get away with not getting pregnant or dealig with the consequences? No. I'm not pro-life because I'm a mother, I'm pro-life because I don't believe in murder. If people want to chose, I won't stop them, if my best friend told me she was going to have an abortion, I would do my best to convince her otherwise but would support her regardless. I just can't help but think it's insensitive to say it's not murder, because in every sense of the word, it is. What this girl, Jackie, is doing, is a slow and exaggerated murder of 4 innocent babies. It's our bodies, true, which mean it's our choice to do with it what we want. I fell in love, I did what i felt was right at the time. I'm blessed with a beautiful son. Is it hard? Yes. But it's a body, a connection you and your child share. If abortion wasn't legal, I'm sure people would be much more careful in that sense. They weren't ready to be mothers? Then don't have sex. And it doesn't matter if you're 16 or 60, you are never prepared to be a mother, never prepared for the feelings it will cause, the love you will feel, or the lengths you will go to in order to protect your children. But it's not murder. And if abortion weren't legal, people wouldn't be more careful, we'd just have more people aborting their babies in ridiculously stupid ways like this Jackie. And it's impossible to know whether you're really ready to be a mother, whether you think you are or not. You didn't think you were at 15, but handled it. Other women want children, and are horrible mothers. Too many damn variables. Now can we all stop arguing with me? I don't give a f**k if you're anti-choice, I fully understand your position, just happen to disagree, and for god's sake that's not what this topic is about. |
