Proper Shaving Technique, Which direction should I shave? |

Should hair be shaven on the direction of its growth? How do I prevent areas outside the armpit from being excluded in shaving? I noticed that to get a cleaner shave, I had to include areas outside the armpit, but those areas became hairy now. It's very embarrassing to have hairy armpits. Please advice.

I used to watch my mom tweeze. I tried it once. Totally turned me off tweezing in the future.
For my legs, I shave upwards. Gives a much nicer, closer shave. For my armpits, I start going against the direction of hair growth. Then swipe the razor down for everything else I missed, then I shave side to side/whatever angles to get the remainder of the hair growth. Works pretty fine for me. :] |
