For those who have an existing web site, before you got your domain what did you do....did you buy any programs from a store, what tools did you use or did you pay another person to do it, were you happy with the end result?

You have to get a domain for it, and then you have to download this script type and then you upload it onto your FTP server and then you set it up and what not. Or maybe I'm talking about something else, but the first thing that came to mind was PHPBB Board. All I used to build my website was my freetime, photoshop, notepad, and FTPLive. All of those things were things I had already received, so I didn't have to pay for anything. My hosting for my site is already free, and I received a free domain. So I didn't pay for anything = $0.00. |
