how close are you to your bf/gf's parents? Options

i wouldn't say that i have a good relationship with my bf's mom . . . i wouldn't even say that i like her very much at all. i guess i dont have much respect for someone that acts like a child and expects her son to do everything for her besides goto her shitty job at the truck stop.

since she has lost her car because she's an irritational idiot, she's been trying to get me to drive an hour all the way to longview to take her to run errands and it feels so good just saying "nah, i dont feel like it"-although sometimes i cave in just to keep appearances up.

so, what are your feelings towards your significant other's parental figures?

I would say I have a pretty good relationship with my boyfriends parents. Well his mom anyway. Usually when I go up there I'll stay at his mom's house and she'll talk to me about almost anything. His Dad on the other hand I'll still getting use to. He's very strict about like no sex before marriage, and things of that sort. I've been waiting for him to give us a good talk about things but he hasn't yet surprisingly. But anywayyyyy. I wouldn't say I have the greatest relationship with his dad, but I mean its not bad. Its not like he hates me or anything xD
