I don't know if you guys have heard the controversy regarding the latest Vogue cover...
![]() People are complaining that it's racist. That his "gorilla-like" pose is perpetuating racial stereotypes. That it portrays an angry black man. That it screams "King Kong." If you see a black man and a white woman on a cover and immediately think "King Kong" then really... who's the racist? I'm really getting sick of people calling things out as racist when there's none to be found. People need to lighten up. |

They're very unflattering poses, and it could be seen as stereotypical. I don't just see Lebron and Giselle on a cover of Vogue; they're not normal poses to me. The photographer could have easily made them stand there and not make stupid faces with a blonde on his arm. Sort of destroys the demeanor of Vogue.
